Crown Prince was purchased in 2009 at the Bowen Sale for $12,000.  Quality, soft, easy doing bull out of the outstanding donor cow, Bowen Princess T65.

First calves show a great deal of style and balance with good length of body.

Deakin is a very attractive bull with strong carcase characteristics & excellent scrotal.  Purchased in 2010 at the Diamond Bull Sale.

Petri was purchased in partnership with Heatherdale for $16,000.  Has proven to be easy calving, consistently siring very saleable cattle.  First daughters in production are great young cows with ideal udders.  Petri is still sound as a bell at 7 yrs of age and is being used in both the Cannawigra and Morganvale herds.  He has crossed well with the Tycolah DCTC daughters.   Solid EBV's - moderate birth, high milk and positive fat.

AI SIRE:  Katrina awarded Waterhouse Junior and Grand Champion Bull and Supreme Exhibit at Sydney 2009 (pictured left with Grant Nivison, Yalgoo and Lachy Day, Allendale) and we subsequently purchased a semen package in this promising young sire.  A very nice group of calves (mainly heifers) on the ground showing great length and volume.

Sire:  Bowen Tornado Z260   Dam:  Valma Iowa X29  (by Valma Focus U74)  

Navy was purchased at Wodonga 2009 to introduce the Bowen Tornado bloodline.  Moderate framed with strong muscle expression and good temperament.

Sire:  Cannawigra S5 Batman X08 (S)   Dam:  Cannawigra Anabel V108  (by Hanookra Power)  

Commander was Reserve Senior Champion Adelaide Royal Poll Hereford Feature Show 2006.  Full sister was Junior, Grand and All Breed Junior Adelaide 2006 (at 11 mths).  Dam was Junior and All Breed Junior Adelaide 2001.  Tremendous carcase, sound structure combined with great skin and hair.  First daughters are terrific - consistent in type, moderate size with lovely udders. 

Commander was sold to Mountain Valley PHS in 2009. 

A son topped the Limestone Coast Sale at $9000 in 2010.  More sons on offer in 2011.

DCTC was purchased at Dubbo 2006 for $21,000 in partnership with Kurrum Burra.  A quality sire with softness. Dam is the outstanding donor cow Kenya Advance 126.  First daughters in production are very pleasing.  Trait leader for all growth traits and scrotal size.

Sire:  Kenya Kidman   Dam:  Bowen Rollina Y239 (by Bowen Tamair T51)  

Long, mobile easy doing bull.  This pedigree combines some outstanding Australian and New Zealand genetics including Kenya Kidman and Valma Southern Star.  Maternal grand dam is the very consistent donor cow Rollina N61.

Sire:  NJW Vaquero 25C   Dam:  Doonbiddie 75A Joybelle U20 (by WTK Bond 75A)  

Rye was purchased to use over heifers in 2009.  Strong maternal pedigree combining several very good donor cows - Circle D Duchess 283Z and Willox Joybelle L14. 

Sire:  Tycolah DCTC   Dam:  Cannawigra Anabel V108  (by Hanookra Power)  

Maternal brother to Cannawigra Commander - out of V108 who bred so well for us.  D38 was initially used as a yearling and we have a really strong group of calves on the ground by this bull - attractive, moderate birthweights & good toplines. 

Sire:  Yambro Velocity A92   Dam:  Yambro Gay Girl S58  (by GK Beaudacious 82C)  

Big powerful upstanding bull with terrific head and eye .  Purchased at the Diamond Sale 2010 to use over the Petri daughters.
