New Sire 2006 Introducing Tycolah D.C.T.C. Purchased at the 2006 Dubbo Show & Sale for $21,000 in partnership with Ross & Jill Kemp, Kurrum Burra Stud, Riverton SA. D.C.T.C is by Allendale Kenworth out of donor cow Kenya Advance 126 by Kenya Kidman. A well balanced quality young bull with softness, well balanced EBV's, good skin and hair, plenty of muscle and very correct. 975kg, 130 EMA and 15/10 fat at 21 mths. New AI Sire 2006 Introducing GVS Resistol Outlaw 2K. We recently had the opportunity to import semen on this proven sire from Canada. This bull impressed us a youngster at Agribition in 2001 and after seeing photos of his daughters in production we decided to use him in our program. Great bodylength, muscle pattern and outcross genetics.
Naracoorte 2006 Offered & Sold 7 head to top of $4500 and a solid average of $3500. 6 Bulls were ribbon winners in judging. Runner-up Most Successful Exhibitor on a countback. New Sire We have recently purchased a possession share in the $16,000 Debarry Petri (by 2005 Sire of the Year - Bowen Vincent) from Heatherdale. Petri will be used in our 2006 breeding program.
2005 Adelaide Royal Show Results Exhibited 2 head by Cannawigra S5 Batman X08 for an extremely successful result in one of the largest Poll Hereford showings at Adelaide in recent years.
This was our third All Breed Junior Champion at Adelaide since 2001.
Cannawigra X8 Robin Z16 Sire: Batman X08 Dam: by JSF Devo 23C Actual Birthweight - 35kg Weight @ 17.5mths - 740kg, 15/17 Fat and 109 EMA 100% Pigment. Has been used over heifers this winter. Moderate frame and easy doing. Good skin and hair, structurally very correct with terrific mobility and muscling. Curve bending EBV's combining low birthweight with good milk and growth.
We also showed our 6mth old Jack Russell puppy bitch Beaconway Tin Tin at Adelaide for 1st in Jack Russell Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed. Go Daisy! A terrific Adelaide Royal all round. New Sire - Kenevel Whiplash Kenevel Whiplash has recently been purchased from the Mcarthur Family, Oldfield PHS in NSW. Whiplash is a proven rising seven year old sire by the well known sire Merawah Monsoon 2. He has excellent feet, good temperament and great skin & hair. Sons have sold to $21,000 and met good demand from commercial producers. Whiplash has also sired class winners at Sydney in 2004 & 2005 (bulls & females).
Sydney Royal 2005 We were really pleased with our team of baby calves in Sydney. All placed in a strong showing under Steven Peake, Bowen PHS and we received some very good feedback on our cattle. It was especially encouraging to hear from previous purchasers of some of our females from Sydney.

SYDNEY WHC FEATURE SHOW 2004 A great result at Sydney 2004! 5 head shown for 3 ribbons. Whiteface cattle were the feature breed at this years Sydney Show as part of the World Hereford Conference. We were absolutely delighted with our very solid result at Sydney competing against some of Australia's best Poll Hereford cattle in a large showing. A sincere thankyou to the buyers and underbidders on our cattle at Sydney. We would also like to thank Michael O'Sullivan and his team for presenting our cattle so professionally in Sydney for us.

...........Nuff Said!! Capri X102 has calved to Bowen Headline at 21 months - feminine, fertile & functional! NUFF SAID HEIFERS PERFORM Two heifers sired by LLL Nuff Said performed well at recent heifer shows in July. Both heifers had previously been shown in Sydney where they placed 3rd & 4th in the same class. SA All Breeds Heifer Show - Cannawigra 45H Capri X102 won Reserve Intermediate Champion Heifer. (3rd Sydney). (all breeds heifer show competing on an interbreed basis) National Junior Poll Hereford Heifer Show - EBBX DBW Juno LLL won Intermediate Champion Heifer (4th Sydney). Congratulations to the Ebbeck family! A very limited amount of Nuff Said semen is available for sale - contact us for details. SYDNEY SHOW RESULTS - April 12th 2003 A solid result at Sydney 2003. 4 head shown for 5 ribbons. This was the largest showing of Poll Hereford cattle at Sydney since the show moved to Homebush Bay (160 entries). An exciting lead up to next years World Hereford Conference to be held in Australia in March/April 2004.

A PAT ON THE BACK Congratulations to the Waite family on their continued success with 8 - 10 mth old Cannawigra blood weaners at the recent Hamilton Whiteface Weaner sales in Victoria. Waite's heifers topped the overall whiteface heifer offering and their steers sold strongly to top the Wesfarmers Landmark offering at this sale. Waite's have been long term clients purchasing Cannawigra bulls every year since 1984. (Source - Stock Journal)
