The 180-acre property includes two swamps, coastal hills, valleys and flats that are undergoing re-vegetation to recreate the early ecology of the land by planting thousands of native trees and shrubs. Two permanent waterholes have been dug for the View of the Dairy, Machinery Shed and Farmhouseuse of native animals and as proud members of "Land for Wildlife" all native flora and fauna are protected.

Kilometres of walking trails allow guests to experience this country retreat with ocean views from the hilltops, wild kangaroos, echidnas, turtles, bats etc and beautiful native birds abounding.

Enjoy tranquil surroundings and privacy - a place to relax, listen to the ocean, and breathe fresh, unpolluted, sea air - yet just a short distance from Nelson with all it's attractions.

Stars at night are often breathtaking as they are viewed here in complete darkness.

Nelson is located in the South West corner of Victoria on the mouth of the Glenelg River, being the last stretch of the Great Ocean Road, and halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide - share a holiday with friends/families from both cities.

Surf and estuary beaches, swimming, fishing, canoe and boat hire, river cruises to Princess Margaret Rose Caves, and two magnificent National Parks are nearby.

The "Visitor Information Centre" at Nelson and the "Lady Nelson" in Mt Gambier each provide valuable local knowledge and tourism information.

Day trips from Nelson include - Cape Bridgewater, Portland, Donovan's, Princess Margaret Rose Caves, Picaninnie Ponds, Ewens Ponds, Mt Gambier, Penola, Coonawarra, Port Macdonnell and Mt Shank (an extinct volcano).

South Australian Tourism Officials have renamed "The South East" as "Limestone Coast" although locals still know it as "The South East" - it is the Cave Diving Capital of Australia and there are numerous limestone caves & sinkholes throughout.
