Sub-Collectors  of  Customs  and  Harbor  Masters - BEACHPORT  (to  1932)
The  two  positions  named  above  were  not  the  only  ones  that  a  Harbor  Master  was  required  to  hold.
At  various  periods  he  could  also  be  required  to  carry  out  the  duties  of  quite  a  range  other  positions,
Some  of  which  were: Boarding  Officer,  Inspector  of  Shipping,  Lifeboat  Coxswain,  Pilot,  Health  Officer,
Jetty  Lighthouse  Keeper,  Inspector  of  Public  Houses.

			13 Oct 1899	Died. Had  been  in  ill-health  for some  time.
				Capt.  Patrick  Weir,  the  coxswain  for  the  life  boat,  City  of  Adelaide,
				had  filled  in  as  acting  Harbor  Master  for  the  previous  2  weeks  approx.

			Feb-10	Transferred  to  Port  Adelaide  to  the  position  of  assistant  Harbor  Master
SOLLY	Richard  Hancorn	Capt.	Feb-10	SCC,  and  HM
			end  of  1930	Retired  when  the  S. A.  Harbours  Board  made  the  decision  to  remove
				all  lifeboats  and  rocket  stations  in  S. A.,  and  dismiss  all  harbor  masters.
JUSTICE	Sydney  Roy			Former  City  of  Adelaide  engineer,  appointed  HM,  possibly  in    an  acting  or  caretaker  role
